Lesson #5 - Belly Dance Boulevard.com - Belly Dancing Lessons
This is the fifth lesson out of a full online belly dance course from BellyDanceBoulevard.com. Watch and practice at the comfort of your home, by yourself or with a friend.
In this video we learn how to do the magical vertical figure eight movement (sometimes called “maya”), and also how to walk with it. I want to remind you to start with the basic posture as was taught in the first lesson, and also that learning to belly dance over the internet does not constitute an alternative for taking classes with a teacher.
The song in this lesson is “ya kelbi” from the CD “Deb” by the great singer, songwriter and guitarist Suad Massi.
Visit www.BellyDanceBoulevard.com to read tips, watch videos with explanations and communicate with other belly dancers all around the world.
Now go have fun!

I gave you 5 stars, …
I gave you 5 stars, favorited &added to my plalist. Thank you so much for this series. This was one of the best instructional videos I have seen for these particular moves because it explains it so well, both in words & in the camera view, & also because of the the way that you did it slowly in pieces, & then all together in a smooth fluid movement. This way we learn what it looks like broken apart & all together. Instruction was very thorough & beginner friendly, & the dancing, beautiful.
