its cool !what she is saying is don’t force the hips and it looks 10 times better than if you purposely force the hips from side to side ..which comes from relaxing and flowing to the music ….pure heaven

all u pretty much have to do is learn to go 2 steps to both sides raise the hip a little
and the rest of your body will follow with the rhythm.

I don’t think she is dissing latinos. My teachers say the same thing. Truthfully, it is gringos who force the hips. Most latinos know instinctively how to move their hips. Latino styling is what we non-latinos strive for. My teachers would say her hip movement is not pure.

hey She dint say tht latinos and their movement looks silly….she jus said “a lot of ppl think latin dancing’s all about hips” She jus said it in general n not specifically latino dancers.I think she’s really sweet n is doin a gr8 job with these videos. Cheers keep dancing!

I’m sorry but I lost total respect for you and your videos when you said that latinos and hips look SILLY.. to be honest.. you wish!!!, I’m a latino bachata, salsa LA and salsa cuban instructor from Ecuador and I encourage my students to style like a latino, just because you might speak SPAN_GLISH that does not mean you trash latino styling, thanx to us you guys have these dances, otherwise stick to ballroom if you want to dance witht he flow.. I’m sorry but your comment really upsets me.
