I want to start learning how to ‘hip hop’ dance, but i cant go to lessons, sadly, so i want to use a good ’series’ of lessons on youtube to learn. If you have any recommendations, please leave a link(s), thanks.
There must be, as most good things end up on youtube.
I’m 14 and interested in maybe taking a beginner dance lesson, but I don’t want to have to go with the 9 year olds and be humiliated.
Depends really on the school. Most dance schools have competitive classes, where the group works on a routine which they preform at competitions and win. These are only ever open to girls who have been with the school for a while, have experience and talent. The process is different for every school. But most have for fun only classes, meant just to help you improve your skills and have fun. When signing up, you can ask to be with a certain age group, and normally the school will comply. If not, try a local gym. These dance classes tend to only be for fun, and your more likely to have older people in your classes.
